We met a bunch of very cool gamers last night at the Playcrafting event, but Isaac and I also saw a lot of familiar faces. At a previous expo, we'd met the team of two designers that now make up Clade Design. They stopped by our table with tons of great feedback on How I Roll, and they mentioned that they had an iOS game of their own in development. Well--this time around, the game is ready! And wow, it is delightful!
It's a simple puzzle game that, naturally, is lots of fun. But it really shines when it comes to its clean design and polished animations. And the soundtrack: divine. If you're looking for an example of a well-executed puzzle game, be sure to give BentoBlox a try. I downloaded it as soon as I got home!

It feels like we just got back from Minefaire, but it's already time for Playcrafting's Spring Play expo! Isaac and I are excited to announce that we'll be there showing off How I Roll--alongside over 67 other indie games made right here in the Bay Area. I was playing the latest build of How I Roll on TestFlight, and I noticed that the "play sounds"/"stop sounds" seems to have stopped working... at least on my phone. For me it seems like the sound effects always play, regardless of whether the button has been pressed or not. 😕
This sort of thing happens from time to time. We haven't touched anything in the code for the sounds in months, so Apple must've changed the way something works in iOS. Don't worry--we'll be sure to fix it for the next beta build! Has anyone else noticed problems with the sounds?
